You’ve probably heard that the largest organ on your body is your skin! Since our skin wraps and protects our entire body, it’s important to protect our skin. There are many ways to protect your skin, from drinking plenty of water to moisturizing to quitting smoking to using sun screen. However, it’s the skin on your face that is most vulnerable. First, your face is almost always exposed to the weather, including the sun’s rays and other harmful toxins in the air. Second, some of the skin on your face, e.g. around your eyes, is the most sensitive skin on your body.

Your face is your personal representative, or ambassador, with whom everyone you meet comes in contact, and we all know how important first impressions are! With a good skin care program, customized for your particular skin and used consistently, you can ensure your face will be looking good long into the future.

There are five steps to a good skin care program. These are: cleanse, exfoliate, freshen, moisturize, and protect. You can learn more about these in our blog.
